Parent Engagement Survey
Bluewater District School Board is asking parents/guardians to take a few minutes to complete an anonymous online survey on how parents/guardians interact with their local schools. Developed by Bluewater’s Parent Engagement Committee in conjunction with the Parent Involvement Committee, the survey focuses on school climate, eliminating barriers, supporting parents and special education. Feedback will allow the board to explore how to further engage parents/guardians, and continue to find strategies to make schools welcoming while supporting increased student achievement and well-being.
Bluewater District School Board is hosting three community forums on Parent Engagement. Parents/guardians and members of the public are invited to attend any of the forums to participate:
Thursday, February 28, 2013 – North Area
OSCVI, Owen Sound, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 26, 2013 – South Area
Spruce Ridge Community School, Durham, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 4, 2013 – West Area
GC Huston Public School, Southampton, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
